Local Color XC in USA Today
The Ocean State was good to us. We landed at Fishermen's Memorial State Park, one of the most trafficked parks in the Northeast, just before busy season. The cliff walk in Newport, with all its cliffs and crevices and mansions, dazzled and delighted. And Providence proved its worth with sunny days, boat tours, renowned art at RISD and coffee milk, of course.
